Do you think PAPER is ECO-FRIENDLY??

Paper is something which has become very essential for our living. It is the medium for Exchange of information throughout the World. Though electronics have reduced the load on PAPERS, we still depend on PAPERS. Here is a story which tells us How paper came into our Life.

The Origin of PAPER dates back to the early Egyptian civilization. The Egyptians used the stalks of the PAPYRUS plant to manufacture a material resembling paper. But the process of making paper belongs to CHINESE. Paper mills were operating since 13th century.

Today the finest of papers are produced all over the world. But one dismaying fact is that millions of trees are felled everyday to make paper. Though trees are also being planted on one side, you may well imagine the disastrous effect this will have on our beautiful ecosystem. In the last 40 years, the consumption of Paper has increased by 400%. In addition to this, Paper Waste accounts for about 40% of the total waste produced all over the world.

Now, what do you think. Is PAPER eco-friendly?? Definitely not. Though we are planting trees we can never compensate with the demand. The only way to reduce the affect on our ecosystem is either stop consuming Paper or use an alternative.

We cant stop using PAPER. The pleasure of writing on a Paper can never be fulfilled by any Keyboard. Our Scientists have come up with an alternative to produce paper. Paper are being made from Bagasse which is a Sugar-cane waste.

Only this paper which is made from the wastes without using the Fibres from TREES is Eco-Friendly. A kind request to all readers, please prefer your Keyboard rather than your pen. Printing text reduces the amount of paper used. Next time you visit a Stationary, make sure you ask for ECO FRIENDLY PAPER. Thank You.
