we calculate safety on road? Is it possible?? Yes, you can. I will tell you how
to calculate your safety. This is a very small calculation which will tell you
about your safety.
Accident occurs when the driver is unable to stop the vehicle with his/her BRAKES. This is because the driver doesn’t get enough TIME and SPACE to stop car. If the driver maintains a safe distance from the car in front, then the driver will be able to stop the car with the brakes before hitting the other car.

There is a rule called TWO SECOND RULE. According to this
rule, a distance of 2 SECONDS
between two cars is safe. Now, let us see How to Calculate distance in SECONDS.
Let us assume that you are driving a car and
another car is moving in front of you. Now you have to take any object like a POST or TREE as your MARKING. When the car in front of you crosses the MARKING start counting the time. Stop
counting when your car crosses the MARKING.
If the time you counted is more than TWO SECONDS then your car is at a safe
distance. Which means there is enough gap for you to STOP your car if suppose
the car in front of you STOPS suddenly. This RULE helps you to be SAFE whatever
be the SPEED of your car.
